Checkpoint is in open beta. By using the app you agree to these terms. They are intentionally short. We will replace them with a longer version before charging anyone.

What you get

Access to the Checkpoint web app at no cost during the open beta. Features may change or break without notice while we iterate.

What you owe us

Use Checkpoint for your own Japanese learning. Do not scrape our content, share accounts, or try to break the system on purpose. Do not use the voice tutor for content that would violate OpenAI’s usage policies.

No guarantees

Checkpoint is provided as-is, without warranty. We work to keep your review data safe, but the responsibility to back up anything irreplaceable is yours.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time by emailing hello@checkpoint.study. We can suspend accounts that violate these terms.
